Welcome to Tiburon/Belvedere
Tiburon is known for its outstanding views. On the west side of the peninsula, you can have bold views of Mount Tamalpais, Sausalito, Belvedere Corinthian Islands, and San Francisco. From the East, the views are out over San Pablo Bay and out toward San Rafael and the east bay. Often Realtors use the word panoramic to describe views, here is one place where it actually may be true with 360-degree views possible on the ridge tops.
Belvedere is an established community of exclusive homes. Some of these homes are situated around its lagoon. Originally this lagoon had houseboats ringing it, where the wealthy of San Francisco would come to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Some of these boats were moved inland to create Tiburon’s Arc Row (now shops and restaurants). It's also home to some well-esteemed schools in Marin, which is a major draw for some.
